Deliver clean frames — stamps and watermarks gone, grain and light still yours.
Strip date stamps, camera overlays and proof watermarks from client photos without a Photoshop clone session. Rebuild sky, wall and grain under the mark — free in the browser, no sign-in to try.

Built for this workflow
Date stamps and camera overlays
Old shoots still carry the corner stamp or a brand overlay from the camera. EraseText rebuilds the sky, brick or fabric behind it instead of cloning by hand for every frame.
Client watermarks on proofs
When a proof set needs a clean master for print or album design, wipe the mark in seconds and leave faces, dress detail and bokeh alone. Hold Space to compare before you hand off.
Many frames, same overlay
When a batch shares the same stamp or date template, clear one path in the editor, note which tool worked (All text, Select, or Brush), then repeat on the rest — Select or Brush for the odd angled or cropped shot.
Which tool on a photo job
Start with All text when every overlay should go — common on holiday and archival scans. Use Select when a logo on a jersey or a shop sign in the background must stay. Use Brush when detection missed a soft stamp on a flat sky or a mark that sits over busy foliage. Restore-brush after All text if the wipe ate a thin edge you still need.
Delivery checklist
Compare at 100% on the stamp area: no soft letter ghost, neighbours continuous, grain matching the rest of the frame. Export WebP or convert for the client’s preferred format. Keep the original upload read-only; work on a copy when the contract may ask for the untouched file later.
Vs a heal / clone session
Heal and Content-Aware are general repairs. EraseText is built for lettering — glow, stroke and shadow that travel with the type. For one stubborn stamp on a hero frame, either path can work; for a proof set with the same overlay repeated, the specialised pass is usually faster than cloning each corner by hand. See the blog comparison if you want a side-by-side protocol.
Retention on the free editor
Uploads and results on the standard web product delete after one hour. That is enough for a delivery session; it is not a cloud archive. Download what you need before the hour is up, or ask about retention if you need a longer window for a studio pipeline.
How it goes
- 1Drop a proof or master into the editor (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC — up to 25 MB / 8000 × 8000)
- 2Run All text, or Select / Brush only the stamp; Restore if a thin edge went too far
- 3Hold Space to compare with the original at 100%, then Download — or open Edit only if you need new copy on the clean plate
