Built for this workflow

  • Proof and sample watermarks

When a proof set or stock preview needs a clean master, wipe the overlay in seconds instead of cloning around every letter. All text often catches corner stamps; Select or Brush when only one mark should go.

  • Channel marks on listings

Pull an unmarked frame before you push to a second marketplace that forbids another seller’s watermark. Unmarked product edges and grain stay put — you are not painting over the whole plate.

  • Background stays intact

The erase pass rebuilds grain, gradients and product edges under the mark — not a soft letter-shaped haze. Hold Space to compare with the upload before you download.

A practical loop

Upload → All text or Brush only the mark → Compare at 100% → Download. If detection missed a logo on a flat colour, paint it with Brush. For a new price or caption on the clean plate, open Edit. Formats: JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC up to 25 MB / 8000 × 8000.

Soft vs hard marks

Semi-transparent corner text and camera date stamps clear cleanly in everyday jobs. Diagonal type clears when the letters are readable. For dense tiled watermarks, start from the highest-resolution master you have and use Brush where you want a tighter pass.

Use on files you have rights to

EraseText is for clearing marks on images you own or are licensed to edit — proofs, your listings, your screenshots. See Terms if you need the legal wording.

How it goes

  1. 1Upload the watermarked photo
  2. 2Run All text, or Brush / Select only the mark; Restore if a thin edge went too far
  3. 3Compare at 100%, then Download — or Edit if you need new copy on the clean plate
